Other Ministriesaviv MINISTRIES, Rev. Bob Fruehling, Registered Evangelist
TO SOME, a vision/ministry statement can be redundant or almost arrogant. How can we improve on Jesus' "Great Commission" found in Matthew 28:18-20? However, there is another passage that I claim as my own. This passage is from 1 Timothy, and with the help of Jesus' Holy Spirit, not only guides aviv MINISTRIES Inc., but is my job description as well. " The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons... Devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. " 1 Timothy4:3 & 13 NIV AS WORLD events confirm we are firmly in later times, it is the intent of aviv MINISTRIES Inc. to follow this directive given so many years ago. AND SO, as you scan aviv's pages my hope is that you will find messages and seminars that will be helpful to your congregation. I look forward to hearing from you as we reach out to a world that needs to hear about Jesus. -- Robert Fruehling

ONE LESS STONE, Southern Gospel Quartet
In Luke 19:36-39 we read that as Jesus was riding into the city of Jerusalem, the crowds gathered around Him shouting His praises. The Pharisees told Jesus to have the people stop shouting and praising Him. Jesus replied, "If these people stop praising My Name, surely the stones will cry out." Our purpose is to continually praise His Name in song so that there will be 'ONE LESS STONE' that has to cry out.
This contemporary southern gospel quartet, that originated from the NCO district, took 1st place at the 2005 National Quartet Convention talent competition in Louisville, Kentucky and 1st place at the SGM Fan Fair competition in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The members of ONE LESS STONE are Eric Anderson (North Olmsted), Shaun Hartong (Mt Vernon). Kim Leimbach, (Marion First) and Mark McCullough (Lima). ONE LESS STONE is available for worship services, revivals, banquets or whatever special event you may have. To schedule ONE LESS STONE, please call 216-276-1564 or email info@olsministries.com

GodQuest - A Christian Silent Retreat
When there is no time to do it, that's when you most need to unclutter the calendar and go apart to pray. When the gridlock of your schedule relentlessly forbids it is the time you most need retreat. A (silent) retreat is simply a matter of going into a separate place to seek Christian growth in a disciplined way. Retreat offers us the grace to be ourselves in God's presence without self-consciousness, without masquerade. Retreat provides the chance to be both physically and spiritually refreshed. It is a blessed opportunity to spend time generously in the presence of God. In such a time, God helps us to empty ourselves of cares and anxieties, to be filled up with wisdom that restores us.
GodQuest founder, Donna Lewis, has served as a Nazarene pastor's wife for 30 years and now resides in Mount Vernon. For more information on GodQuest, please visit www.godquest.com .
