The sun has finally appeared and Campmeeting NYI will be here before we know it. The dates are Wednesday, July 14th – Sunday, July 18th. NYI Convention will be on Saturday afternoon.
 
COSTS & REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Registrations should be postmarked by June 30th to ensure you have a space. There are space limitations for some of the activities so please pre-register. The total cost for Wed-Sun for housing, meals, and activities is $129 if paid by June 30th. After June 30th the cost for Magic Mountain and the Zoo/Water Park increases by $8 each. Sorry, but pre-registration helps us plan for the number of buses required. Pre-registration is not complete unless all forms and payment have been received.
 
Please send a check for activities only when you pre-register. You pay for housing and meals when arriving at Camp Meeting to register. Registration will go more smoothly if you have separate payments for housing and meals. Our official registration time is Wednesday, July 14th from 2:00 – 4:00 in the Prince Student Union. We will also be available for a short time before and after the evening services in the chapel office should you arrive later in the week.
 
All registration forms are located on the NCO District website @ www.ncodistrict.org. If you cannot access the district website please let us know and we will send you a paper copy. Please remember to send copies of medical insurance cards (front & back) with medical release forms. We understand there may be some that may not have medical insurance.
 
ADULT SPONSORS
We’ve refined a little this year what it takes to be an adult sponsor. Please submit your sponsor application as soon as possible – even before your student forms. Sponsors will be selected based on when applications are received, whether they meet the desired requirements, and past experience as a sponsor if applicable. If selected as a sponsor the District will cover all expenses (dorm housing, meals, and activities) for the duration you are supervising students. Those not selected are still welcome to attend, however you or your church will need to pay for your housing, meals, and activities. Since adults will be staying in the dorm with students each church should plan to send a male adult to stay with male students and female adult for female students. It works best if each church registers together as a group.
 
MINISTRY PROJECT
We hope you like last year’s work projects. We painted at the animal shelter, sang and played bingo at the nursing home, dressed Barbie dolls (yea, there were a few guys that manned-up and did it!), and did demolition at the Mansfield work site. We’re working on a couple different projects again for this year. Watch the NCO website (ncodistrict.org), or the NCO NYI Facebook Page (search for NCO NYI) for updates.
