and PROCESS

2026 Information for Licensed Ministers

All forms and documents are linked below; hard copies will not be mailed; application deadline is April 1.

It is our privilege to partner with you in your call to ministry!

Our North Central Ohio District Assembly is scheduled for July 11, 2026, at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Dr. Christian Sarmiento will serve as the presiding general superintendent.

In preparation for assembly, annual reports and applications are necessary for all licensed ministers. Please review the Journey Toward Ordination and this Course of Study information page with which has important information regarding approved coursework, courses required per year, time of service, etc.

All paperwork is due April 1 - no exceptions. For reports and applications, documents must be typed and please use your full legal name (first middle last).

You need to meet with the Boards:

-- Click here to set an appointment time (or email ncodistrict@mvnu.edu) for Friday, April 24 (for ordination candidates and special circumstances) (location: District Office) or Saturday, April 25 (for new and renewing license candidates) (location: MVNU Jetter Building).

District license interviews will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, 8:45am-12:00pm, at MVNU Jetter Building.

ALL CANDIDATES will need to ATTEND THE ENTIRE TIME. Our Saturday interviews will be a different format this year.  Each candidate will rotate to four sessions: interview with a sub-committee, group time with Pastor Wendell, group Q/A with Studies Board representatives, and group panel discussion with long-serving pastors.  We will finish the morning with a worship service and communion.

Please submit all items (must be typed) to the district office by April 1:
