The North Central Ohio District is proud to partner with Mount Vernon Nazarene University to offer nearly $25,000 in scholarships to qualifying students. 

 

The following three categories will be awarded.  Ask your financial aid counselor about receiving these funds!

 

Freshman – with membership in the Church of the Nazarene on the NCO District, past involvement in NCO district teen activities (such as Blast, camp, quizzing, Impact, etc.), attending MVNU as a full-time student, and exhibiting financial need

 

Ministers’ Child – with membership in the Church of the Nazarene on the NCO District, dependent of an assigned senior pastor or full-time pastoral staff on the NCO District, attending MVNU as a full-time student, maintaining a 2.0 gpa at MVNU, and exhibiting financial need

 

Ministerial Student – with membership in the Church of the Nazarene on the NCO District, junior or senior religion major pursuing a B.A. in Intercultural Studies, Pastoral Ministries, Religion Humanities, or Theological Studies, attending MVNU as a full-time student, maintaining a 2.0 gpa at MVNU, and exhibiting financial need

 

Students who have filed their FAFSA with Mount Vernon Nazarene University by March 15 will be considered for priority awarding. Additional funds will be awarded based on availability after the deadline. No application is necessary.
