British Isles South District Superintendent Carl McCann launched a pilot project to strengthen four churches in the Northwest of England with a model that may enjoy broader application. McCann believes the creation of a network of relationships, mission-centric teams, and coordinated ministry efforts between the four congregations will bolster morale and improve effectiveness.

McCann asked Trevor Johnston, former pastor, missionary, and district superintendent, to give the next two years of his life, overseeing the project. Though based in Ohio, (U.S.A.), Johnston will conduct a series of on-site experiences to develop strategy, conduct trainings and come alongside and encourage the in-place team. McCann prays that this effort may result in stronger churches and church planting opportunities.

While British Isles South will cover some of the in-country costs, Pastor Trevor agreed to raise $56,000 over the next two years to cover the real cost of the effort.
